Our Progression Program is structured much like conventional K-12 school program which works on teaching students cumulatively build knowledge on how to read, write, listen to, and speak Chinese. This is recommended for students who are able to immerse and practice Chinese regularly at home with their family members.
Our Practical Development Programs are tailored for students and adults who are more new or have less exposure to the Chinese language to bolster the listening and speaking aspect of the language while still learning basic reading and writing skills.
Wei Hwa Chinese School provides extracurricular activities and cultural classes for both children and adults. All courses except Tai Chi meet either from 1pm-2pm or 4pm-5pm on Sundays so as not to conflict with the Chinese programs. Tai Chi classes meet from 2:30pm-4:30pm (or 5pm) on Sundays, all ages and levels of experience are welcome.
All extracurricular activities and cultural classes in the 2022-2023 school year will start on 9/25/22and end on 5/7/23.
